I just remembered I had a crazy dream last night, meant to post about it this morning coz don't remember most of it now. I was having a race with a 'friend' (shes sort of an ex friend now) which started at my old school, it was really crazy. Was running about, it was the first one to get to some festival grounds and find a member of fell silent. Had to find one before the end of Canterbury's set though. We had gone diff routes while running through weird places, but met up a few times while being lost (was kinda of like a weird crazy maze). We got to this point where we had to climb over something but my friends shorter than me, so she couldn't get over which made me all smug. I then got tangled on branches while some women helped my friend over so she caught up. We carried on running and got to the festival. I then found Noddy and Rob so that meant I won. I was then sitting chatting to them, which was weird. I said to Rob how he was the only member of ES who doesn't recorgnise me while the other 3 know my name. He then turned and said to me that he knew my name and that I was the girl who fancied Rory. So I quickly defended myself and said I didn't but he didn't want to believe me. I then admited that I though he was fit, but didn't fancy him as theres no point as he has a gf and wouldn't look twice at me. I then woke up. Tags: dream, enter shikari, festival, running

today I went to see Enter Shikari play at the Pioneer. Was my first time seeing them, and turned out to be my first proper gig. I had been listening to their music for about a month, but after just a week or so we decided to buy tickets to the gig. I can't really remember the gig that much, I remember being on Chris' side just a few people from the front right by the speaker. The sound quality was really bad, and kept beeping/screeching. Despite this, I walked out the gig thinking they were amazing and how gigs were the new best thing! I don't know what the set list was, but I do know at that time they were playing SYNAW, ACH, Mothership, JS and WCBIS. I really want to know the set! A picture I’ve found of them sound checking that day –  Look out Rou's hair! lol Weird to think if I hadn't of decided to go to this gig, I might not even like ES that much. How different would that be!? What would I spend my time and money on then? I also wouldn't know some of the coolest people I know, and have not gained so many great memories and friends! This week has been weird, a few high points but mainly been pretty bad. Been made to feel out of place, upset, annoyed, boring, in the way, sad, uncomfortable, lazy, stupid, and awkard around people, of which some are meant to be my close friends! This has resulted in me relying on the worst people to cheer me up and make me feel less worthless. Had some close calls of doing some very stupid things. You know I wish I was anyone but me. So much for me saying I'll keep this up to date, ok so I only missed a day but still. Yesterday I had college all day, nothing extrodinary happened. Was in quite a bad mood all day, but put on a brave and smiley face. Got me through the college day at least. In the evening I had a bit of a rant over msn which got quite a lot of stuff out my system ... well at least for now. On to today, this morning the weathers been very odd. Mainly rain but when I drove home it went from rain, to drizzle, to hail, to drizzle an then finally sunshine! College was alright today, did a practical in grooming and only had half a day.... score. Tonight I'm meeting Charli at Harp station at half 6 so we can get the train, then tube, to camden. Ok, so its been 2 weeks since I updated this but I really do believe that writing stuff that happens in my day to day life would be a good idea. So today, I had a lovely lie in which was much needed. Woke up only because dad was using a power drill in the ensuite. Think the ensuite is nearly finished, really just needs a floor and a few finishing touches. In the post I got both my bham and brighton train tickets. Random they arrived on the same day as they aren't from the same company and were ordered a few days apart. Its good that they are here though. Good times ahead :) I decided this afternoon that it was about time I got an oyster card, as i'm sure it will save me money when I travel around london. Quite scared to use it, but no point worrying about that now. I'll do that when the day comes. I finally sorted out claiming money back for my phone contract so decided to take a walk to the post box which is just up the road. Didn't realise it was so warm outside. I'd been watching the little weather thing I have on my desktop, which is surprisingly acurate. On my walk I found half a french stick just on some grass ... a bit random ... also this car was being a bit crazy but it was trying to go into a drive. Confused me though. I am currently sitting on the lawn as its so nice out. Its pretty breezy so clipped my hair out the way, need to remember to undo that well before I want to go out. Going wiith Becca to see some dj she likes play at the electricballroom in camden. Should be good fun. I think thats all for now. I am going to update this more often .... well I'm gonna give it a go. ps. The J key on my laptop is really annoying, its not inline with the other keys. So wednesday I went shopping in watford with Jenni. That was fun, went on the motorway. Really need to do that more as I have places to go in the next month! Thursday was my 18th birthday party, it was amazing. Really shows who my 'fun' friends are :). Pdex was really good, even though he turned up an hour late, but oh well. Friday, we slept in after Jenni and Lindsey had stayed the night. That afternoon me, Jenni and Cara headed to london to see Russell Brand at the o2. We are soo going to be on his DVD! Eeeep. Saturday had a nice relaxing day at home, untill we headed off to MK to get the train to manchester. Watched harry potter 5 on the train, made the journey go soo fast. In no time at all we were at Zoe's uni house. Cooked pasta, watched the inbetweeners and then went to bed. Sunday (yesterday), got up and ready, hanged about the house for ages untill we finally went to the venue. GIAN was awesome. All the bands were good, went into the crowd during the King Blues, they are soo much better live than on record. Sat down through the Academy is, then got right into the crowd during the black out. By the end of their set I was 3 rows from the front and had made some friends. ES finally came on, within one song I was on the barrier just to the left of Rory's mic. The set was as good as always, despite the injuries the band had. Rory caught my eye a few times and then gave me his set list at the end. After ES went off stage I managed to find the others. We all ended up going to subway, after a while me and Zoe left. I suggested going back to the venue, where we then spoke to Rou, Chris and Rob. Keith gave me some sign thing from their dressing room, never knew he knew who I was. Rob asked us if we'd get home ok, how sweet. We then wondered off as they were all going to Big hands (a bar near by). We headed out onto the main road, where we then ended up back with Rou and his pack of fans. He was lost, so I showed him the way. Got talking, he goes ''It's Nicola, right?'', "You know my name!?", "yer, you forumers are always getting about", "yer, I'm going to paris on tuesday", "wow thats cool", 'yer, probs see you there then". He then disappeared as we walked off to find a bus. Today I got a taxi, and then 2 trains to get back to watford. Mum then picked me up and drove home.
